The tuning potential for this engine goes far beyond the original set-up and platform meaning we have to adapt the engine management accordingly. If you have a special project e.g. a track/race car, or are looking to add a big turbo set-up with a non-standard installation such as a sidewinder turbo, then you will know it is not always possible to optimise and retain the factory mass airflow system. At Sabre we have developed our Stage 5 tuning option in order to remove the original mass airflow (MAF), and revert to a true alpha-n / speed density set-up. This allows you to introduce larger 4-5″ crossover intake pipes, or shorten the intake tract directly to the turbo i.e. no filter or bolted directly to the turbo.

This conversion still retains all the OEM functionality including:
