Sabre Stage 4 ECU Software – Focus RS MK2

The Focus RS MK2 not only delivers on exceptional looks and styling, the turbocharged 2.5 litre engine offers the iconic 5 pot sound coupled with true RS performance potential.

As we progress to much greater performance, the RS MK2 continues to deliver as a platform beyond the standard turbo limit and once again the upgrade path is refreshingly simple. The key element is the new Sabre 500RS turbo which works wonders giving fantastic response like standard, but with the added benefit of a very much enhanced mid-range and top end. If you did not know, the MK2 engines just love to be revved and we mean all the way. It is so very rewarding on this set-up with power from 450-510bhp. And here is the final trick, you can go Stage 4 on a standard engine with the Sabre enhanced tuning specifically for this set-up with power up to 460bhp.

Recommended Hardware
The Sabre Stage 4 requires all the typical Stage 3 upgrades. Injectors should be 650-1000cc  in conjunction with a high flow fuel pump. We recommend the Sabre 500RS turbo for a direct fit option but tuning is available for other turbos set-ups. This upgrade can be completed on a standard engine up to 450-460bhp. Beyond this level it is recommended to have a built/forged engine with Stage 1 cams and/or water/meth injection for maximum performance.
