Sabre 400RS Hybrid Turbo – Focus RS MK1

The Sabre 400RS hybrid turbo is the most powerful direct fit turbo for the Focus RS MK1 with power up to 415bhp. The development path was extensive with three variants moving forward with each iteration culminating to a refined turbo that is stronger and supremely suited to the RS MK1 character. Where the original turbo is limited to 330bhp with a sharp drop off in torque at higher revs, the 400RS has been designed to give fast response, very strong mid-range torque with sustained power to 7000rpm. The result is exceptional power and performance that takes full commitment when behind the wheel.

Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades:

Sabre 400RS turbo
– New core with 360 thrust bearing + stagger gap seals
– New modified turbine wheel + shaft
– New custom billet compressor wheel
– New custom actuator
– Machining + balancing

Recommended Hardware
No requirement to build the engine, the RS MK1 features forged Mahle pistons from factory which allows power up to 450bhp. However, please note the 400RS turbo cannot be run on a standard set-up and generic maps . It will require the full Sabre Stage 3 or 4 upgrade (please see the required hardware).
