Sabre 550 Turbo External Wastegate Upgrade – Focus RS MK3

We have developed all our upgrades to achieve exceptional real world performance where drivability and performance are the fundamental elements. Whether you are looking to go for a fun drive around your favourite roads, commuting to work or just heading out for 10 minutes, the Sabre 550 ensures a smooth and very fast driving experience.

The core Sabre package includes the following upgrades:

– Garrett G30-660 0.83 turbo
– External wastegate v-band exhaust manifold
– Turbosmart Hypergate 45 external wastegate
– 76mm (3″) External wastegate downpipe
+ FIA 100cpi high temp catalyst
– Braided oil + water feed lines
– Silicone oil return line
– Forge twin-piston Blow-Off-Valve (BOV) + fitting kit

You also need the following so please select at checkout if required:

– High pressure fuel pump (HPFP) e.g. XDI, Firestorm, Nostrum (not Bosch)
– 3.5 or 4.0 BAR T-Map sensor

The 550 upgrade is suitable for all engines that have been rebuilt with forged pistons, steel rods and uprated ARP head studs. In order to see the highest performance levels it is required to install performance camshafts e.g. Piper 270s or 285s. The upgrade is further enhanced with water/meth injection and/or high octane fuels e.g. E85, octane booster.

Sabre Stage 4 mapping has been fully developed to optimise the Sabre 550 upgrade according to each specification. For further information take a look here

There are many different crossover pipes on the market that vary in how they terminate to the turbo. The Sabre kit will finish at a typical standard turbo position. It should be noted that the Sabre kit is 3″ (76mm) at the terminating position so a larger bore connection is required.
