Sabre 400RS Hybrid Turbo – Focus ST 225 MK2

The Sabre 400RS hybrid turbo is the most powerful direct fit option to take the Focus ST225 to the next level beyond the limitations of the standard factory turbo. Where the original turbo is limited to a maximum 325-335bhp with a sharp drop off in torque at higher revs, the 400RS has been designed to pull relentlessly to 7200rpm. This is as close to RS turbo power without the requirement to change to an RS turbo which costs significantly more. The result is a very wide torque curve with no loss of response when compared to the original unit giving exceptional drivability.

Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades:

Sabre 400RS turbo
– New core with 360 thrust bearing + stagger gap seals
– New modified turbine wheel + shaft
– New custom billet compressor wheel
– New custom actuator
– Machining + balancing

No further upgrades are required beyond the typical Stage 2 level other than bigger injectors and associated ECU tuning. For optimal performance please see the required hardware.

Optional extras include Stage 1 launch control and “Rally” style overrun (pops/burbles).

Purchase information
Each turbo is supplied on exchange basis (a surcharge will apply which is then refunded when the exchange unit is received). Alternatively you can send the original turbo direct for the upgrade.
