Sabre 330R Hybrid Turbo – Fiesta ST MK8

The Sabre 330R hybrid turbo is the very first option to take the Fiesta ST MK8 to the next level beyond the limitations of the standard factory turbo. Where the original turbo is limited to 265-275bhp with a sharp drop off in torque at higher revs, the 330R has been designed to pull relentlessly to 6800rpm. The result is a very wide torque curve with minimal loss of response when compared to the original unit giving exceptional drivability.

Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades:

Sabre 330R turbo
– New core with 360 thrust bearing + stagger gap seals
– New modified turbine wheel + shaft
– New custom billet compressor wheel
– Modified vacuum actuator (or Turbosmart)
– Machining + balancing
– Wastegate repair (see purchase information)

No further upgrades are required beyond the typical Stage 2 level other than associated ECU tuning. For optimal performance up to 330bhp we would recommend a larger Stage 2/3 intercooler and full 3″ exhaust system with sports catalyst and GPF. As an additional upgrade water/methanol injection allows for increased performance and cooling especially for track driving.

The 330R is currently the most powerful hybrid turbo on the market due to the unique compressor/turbine arrangement. Of course, there are many turbo options available and Sabre offers tuning for all of them, so you if you already have a turbo in place then take a look at the Sabre Stage 3 and 4 mapping for full optimisation.

Each turbo is supplied on exchange basis (a surcharge will apply which is then refunded when the exchange unit is received). Alternatively you can send the original turbo direct for the upgrade.
