Sabre Stage 4 ECU Software – Focus ST MK3

The Focus ST MK3 introduces the new Ford Ecoboost platform in 2012 and what a departure it is from the previous 2.5 engine. One less cylinder and less displacement, but more power and torque due to the new high compression GDI engine which is coupled to a very tight and refined chassis. It is an exceptional engine in concept and accordingly features a new and very complex Bosch/Ford ECU architecture. This has become the mainstay for of all Ecoboost Ford ECUs up to present day albeit with significant revisions to suit.

The Sabre Stage 4 is designed for owners who would like to take their ST to 400-550bhp or occasionally a little more! Big power can be very exhilarating especially for those that like to take their car on track or race strip. There are a number of options available which work very hard to retain good response and mid-range torque while giving relentless top end power to a 7000rpm+ limiter.

We can cater for many aftermarket turbo conversions such as a GTX2867R, G25-550, G30-770 or beyond. If you can fit it we can tune it! There will be fueling requirements for uprated HPFPs, injectors, AUX fuel etc as well as higher range MAP sensors. Sabre mapping accommodates all the popular upgrades from OEM RS, XDI, Firestorm, Deatchwerks, Bosch etc.

**requires the Sabre BluTune. The earlier pre-facelift model does not currently support the bluetooth operations but does support Windows laptop programming.

Recommended Hardware
The Sabre Stage 4 requires the addition of a bigger turbo e.g. G25-550, GTX2867R, G30-770 etc. Options for cams and water/meth injection are also very good for the highest gains at this level. You will also require a forged/built engine with an uprated HPFP (or aux fuel) and/or injectors.
