Sabre 350R Hybrid Turbo – Focus ST 250 MK3

As standard the ST MK3 has a relatively small turbo with minimal headroom limited to around the 300 level on a good set-up. The Sabre 350R hybrid breaks free from these constraints and expands the potential with a unique upgrade that allows a significant performance increase without any loss of response pulling very hard to 6500rpm. The result is a very wide torque curve with no loss of response when compared to the original unit giving exceptional drivability.

Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades:

Sabre 350R turbo
– New core with 360 thrust bearing + stagger gap seals
– New modified turbine wheel + shaft
– New custom billet compressor wheel
– New custom actuator
– Machining + balancing

No further hardware upgrades are required beyond the typical Stage 2 level in order to achieve 320-330bhp. For optimal performance up to 360bhp it will require uprated camshafts and/or water meth injection. A forged engine is also recommended for the higher levels.

Sabre Stage 3 mapping has been developed to fully optimise the Sabre 350R turbo at all levels to suit the customer’s platform.

Each turbo is supplied on exchange basis (a surcharge will apply which is then refunded when the exchange unit is received). Alternatively you can send the original turbo direct for the upgrade.
